i know i owe this blog big time already for my silence in the world wide web (yeah i got dormant in facebook too). i was about to reason out that i was just supporting the SOPA issue which has been goin around for a while but nahh, i just got really preoccupied with work and some personal stuff (: so i was thinking of what to share to you and i guess for a comeback i will just play it cool. and by cool i mean more photos of me and jp! hahahaa anyway, i get to know this fun website: www.morefunmaker.com so i can have my own version of photos why it's more fun in pinas!

the sinulog weekend

sinulog is considered one of the grandest and most celebrated festival here in the pinas. it's amazing to think that no matter how tiring it is, we filipinos and foreigners alike never miss it just because we are fun-loving and religious rolled into one.

i am not so familiar with the religious beliefs that comes along with sinulog but it makes me proud that i live in a country where christianity is a big thing. V told me that an estimated 1.8MiLLiON devotees joined the saturday procession for the sr. sto. nino. 

on a personal note, i just really wanted to see how this festival is celebrated because from my friends' stories it's all fun and just plain awesome! so here are some photos im sharing of how my sinulog weekend was spent-- with Jp of course!

started the day late because of the saturday night fun out! the streets were swarming with people and jp let me experience the not so long walk around fuente. i went elbow to elbow with the rest of the sugbu crowd who all went to celebrate the great sinulog! it wasn't a long walk because jp decided to let me watch it on top of crown regency-- club ultima! the view was better and not soo much people.

we ended the night with a magical fireworks display from sm's roofdeck parking! we were able to get the full sight of 4 spectacular displays from ayala, crown regency, abellana and sm of course which was by far the most amazing and awesome! til the next sinulog cebu!

IT'S TINDERBOX TUESDAY!

After a not-so-manic Monday shift, Jp and I wants to start our Tuesday by going to one of the best sausage places here in cebu-- The Tinderbox! It's funny how people think that it's such an expensive place but trust me, it's very affordable especially when you don't order from their menu.

So here's the secret: you just have to pick which sausage you want (and boy there's a lot!) which will cost you less than 50php each and have them cook it whatever you want it done-- and TADAAAAH! breakfast is ready ((:

last weekend i was invited by babs to go with them to oslob to experience whale watching. and just like that, i dragged jp along so we can experience it together. the weather wasn't that good but the sun dint totally shy away when we got there.we only get to see one whale but it dint really matter to me cos i went there to swim and snorkel (: oslob is quite far from cebu (3 hrs) but very close to dumaguete so we decided to cap it all off there (: dumaguete is a very laidback city which made jp liked it so much.the whole time we were there he never failed to remind me that he wants to go back soon :D (jp: baby we go back here soon okay?)

this spur of the moment trip was our first out of town together! and i look forward to more backpacks, more foodtrips, more bus rides and more places to discover with jp (: thank you love for this weekend!

yessss! i finally changed my relationship status! from single to in a relationship, how awesome is that? haahaha well, you may find it too OA because nowadays, changing of relationship status (yes i mean in facebook and in real life) seemed to be overrated. ours is different. few people who actually know our story can tell you that it's not the usual love story (: i have always wanted to tell the whole world how everything turned out to be what it is right now but i think it would be too bias if i only tell it from my own side of the story. jp has his own version to tell too so i'd better keep it to myself. but i think that doesn't keep me from telling the whole world how happy i've been since he came.

jp is my long lost beach buddy! we started hanging out because we discovered we both love the water! too bad-- he doesn't tan and every time we beach, it's always me who turns out to be very tanned! oh well, coffee + milk (:

jp is very spontaneous, and i am too! we often go long drives together to anywhere and everywhere our crazy heads can think of!

we are gym buffs! uhmm, i mean he is but i kinda was drag because of him. hahaha but seriously, we work out together just because we are also both food afficionados! every time we binge, we pay it with work out!

you may wonder why i only have one/two photos of our food trip together and i'm raving about it-- well, you have to understand that when we are hungry, we focus all our energy to eating and just savoring the food hahaha next time, i promise to have better photos! (but who can think of taking a pic when you're hungry huh, tell me!?)

there is soo much to talk about jp and how a match we are as a couple!  sometimes, i kinda think that he is too good to be true but he never fails to assure me that he is for real and what we have is not just a spur of the moment kind of thing! we're goin to rock 2012 baby! x
